Who are your clients?I work with families whose child or children are typically struggling with sleep challenges associated with early life (age 4 months to 4 years). I have lots of experience working with alternative parenting styles, cross-cultural parenting, extended family households and non-traditional families as well as traditional families nationwide. I am here to provide clarity and a path forward to better sleep for all.
-
What age group do you work with?My Newborn Sleep program is designed for parents of children 0-4 months old. All the other programs are appropriate for children 4 months to 4 years of age. The actual program chosen depends on how your family is sleeping now and the sleep goals you want to set.
-
How soon can you start working with us?I work with a limited number of families at a time in order to be able to give focused attention to each one. Schedule a free consultation now to understand my upcoming availability and how soon we can work together!

My child is younger than 4 months. Should I wait to contact you?If you're looking to do formal sleep training [creating an independent sleeper and getting on a schedule], it is most successful after 3.5 months. However, if you're looking to build your confidence around sleep in the early months of life, the Newborn Sleep Session is a great fit.
-
My child was born early. Does this impact the age at which he/she can be sleep trained? If your child was born more than 1 week before the due date, I do consider the adjusted age when training. Therefore, we would want your child's adjusted age to be at least 16 weeks before training can begin. At any point after 16 weeks of adjusted age, it does not significantly impact learning.
-
Do you work with multiple children in the same family?Since I provide a high level of support, I only work with one child in a family at a time, unless the children are multiples (twins, triplets, etc.). If you are interested in getting support for more than 1 child, I can support you in understanding which will be easiest to work with first and bring the most immediate changes to your sleep needs. Then a second package must be purchased for the next child. Since some of the sleep knowledge is the same for all ages of children, the 2nd package is often less expensive and shorter in duration.
-
Do you offer in-home consultations? All consultations and services are virtual. The programs succeed in empowering the parents/caregivers to taking control of their family's sleep for a lifetime to come.
-
What is a Foundational Sleep Knowledge Session?A Foundational Sleep Knowledge Session is a virtual educational session that your coach holds for parents & caregivers at the outset of some of the packages. This brings everyone to the same level of knowledge around sleep by filling any gaps in knowledge and understanding. Trying to troubleshoot sleep without having a solid foundation of knowledge regarding sleep in babies/children is equivalent to driving a car without taking driver's education. It’s possible, but likely there will be many bumps and bruises along the way, and lots of confusion for yourself and others around you, including your child.
-
What is a sleep coach or sleep consultant?A sleep coach is someone who can (1) give you a foundation of knowledge regarding sleep, (2) help you build a solid plan for how to improve sleep AND (3) support you along the entire journey. I want to be a partner in your family’s sleep journey. My program is based on empowering the parents and caregivers to take control of their family’s sleep habits and learn the tools to manage any sleep challenges that arise. My goal for my families is independence from me - having the knowledge and confidence to continue the journey on your own. You will have the tools you need to continue sleep success for your child into toddlerhood and beyond.
-
What is covered in a Free Consultation? The goal for this consultation is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about sleep coaching and learn the details about the program and methods. Your coach can also learn more about your family's sleep situation and recommend which coaching package would best fit your needs.
-
How long have you been coaching? Who have you worked with?I have been sleeping coaching & sleep consulting with families for 8+ years now. I am passionate about helping families rediscover sleep and enjoy empowering parents and caregivers in the process. I have worked with families throughout the United States across many different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life.
-
How do you work with various styles and methods of parenting? My customized approach includes an important intake where I learn all about your family including your goals, parenting style and preferences. I am happy to discuss any apprehensions before you sign up. I am here as a supporter of what the parents want to achieve and a clear source of knowledge on what is possible. A Free Consultation is the best way to see if we might be a good fit!
-
Do you follow a specific method such as Ferber, "No Cry" or "Cry It Out"?Not at all! I look at the whole picture and identify underlying reasons for sleep disturbances and help you understand them. I am NOT a sleep trainer, I AM a sleep coach. We use a custom approach that works best for your child and family and you will never be asked to do anything that does not align with your values, parenting method or preferences. Schedule a Free Consultation and let's get to know one another.

Is Sleep Consulting covered by Insurance, HSA or FSA?In recent years, some insurance companies have started covering sleep consulting services. You will need to reach out to your insurance company and find out if they need any pre-approval or paperwork. Depending on whether it is HSA or FSA coverage, you may have to pre-pay and get reimbursed or be able to pay with a insurance debit card.
-
Do clients have access to your support after program completion?I have options for continued access in an On-Demand fashion as well as clients take home materials and resources to refer to as their child ages. I am also accessible to past clients via email while their child is under the age of 5.
